About
A Little Background
I’ve devoted my thirty-year career to the craft of copyediting and proofreading. I help fiction and nonfiction writers—New York Times bestselling and indie authors alike—put the final touch on their manuscripts so they can confidently put their work out into the world.
Experience
I’ve copyedited and proofed hundreds of magazines and books—both fiction (literary, historical, women's, thriller, romance, young adult, children’s) and nonfiction (travel, health, cooking, business, self-help, memoir, investigative). My background in public relations and in-house project management informs my collaborative relationship with valued clients, including book and magazine publishers, book packagers, indie authors, health care providers, and nonprofits.

Northwest Editors Guild
As a long-time member (30 years!) I value and support this amazing network of editors by serving on the advisory committee. I’ve also volunteered on the Board of Directors executive committee, 2023 Red Pencil planning committee, and mentoring program.
Off the Clock
I live in Edmonds, Washington, where I volunteer for the Edmonds in Bloom Garden Tour and enjoy puttering in my garden, walking my jaunty lil Dachshund, and reading—naturally!—histories, biographies, and memoirs.
